The Road To Sustainability Process™

When you work with Resolutions LLC, you employ our exclusive Road to Sustainability Process™. The Road to Sustainability is a three-phase process that starts slowly and uses success as fuel for further program enhancement.

The Road To Sustainability Process Scouting Report Greenprint Implement

In phase two, Resolutions consultants look even deeper into topics identified in the first phase, and build a blueprint to implement — what we call a Greenprint

Greenprint

Opportunities identified in the Scouting Report are reviewed more closely in the Greenprint. Based on Scouting Report suggestions, and your business and environmental goals, your organization may choose to act on one, many or all of the opportunities identified. ReSolutions staff work with your organization’s short- and long-range goals to select a path that makes sense and can be successful in a visible, tangible way.

For example, your organization may identify three topics from the Scouting Report as “most important” to your business health or sustainability goals, and one topic as “kinda important.” In our Greenprint research and planning, we will focus on building a plan to address just those issues, within the context of your organization – with the goal of creating a program that can be successful from the beginning.

As examples:

  • Identify Energy as a priority, and we devise a program to help you reduce energy use and quantify those reductions.
  • Identify Solid Waste as a priority, and we suggest a program that attacks waste from many angles.
  • Identify a specific department or building for a pilot program and we brainstorm the way to make that happen.
  • Determine that some department’s recycling program should be implemented throughout the organization, and we propose methods for doing so.

For each of these programs, a Greenprint also outlines the steps needed to implement, communicate and sustain the program.

Because a Greenprint is thorough, our research and planning may even identify some opportunities or projects that did not come up during the Scouting Report. The Greenprint Report which pulls all of this information together will bring these to your attention, also.

When the Greenprint is complete, you have a plan for the next year and beyond.

What’s the next step? Implementation.
