Implement

Encouraging employees and vendors to participate, enlightening customers and educating investors on your initiatives are important for your program to succeed. This requires well-considered marketing and communications, and could include the following:

• Employee education/awareness
• Investor relations
• Corporate social responsibility reporting
• Market to customers and clients

You may have an engaged and aggressive staff that is ready to put the plans in place. If not, ReSolutions can provide guidance and planning support to guide your programs along. Finally… the Greenprint is approved, the plans are complete, and the programs are up and running. But it’s not over. For an organization’s program to truly be effective and to be sustainable it needs to be visited annually. Are the programs working? Can changes be made? Have my goals changed? What is new in my industry? Have there been changes in regulations or incentives?

To know if your program is working, you need to compare data from year to year. Furthermore, the data you collect can be used to compare your organization to others in the same industry. Competition drives innovation.
