Really? Do we need to individually wrap each one of our baked potatoes in shrink wrap? We take them out of the dirt, clean them off and then protect them from what? Think of all the energy used to get them to this point and then the waste from the plastic.

Agreed, I hate this kind of waste. As long as the store will sell loose potatoes you can microwave them (pierce with a fork first) for 2-4 minutes then wrap will foil and throw them on the grill to finish with your main course.
